The classic pear shape with a smaller, deeper face enhances workability for shot and trajectory control. The tuned sole of the 909D3 includes optimized pockets and an internal rib for reduced vibration, providing solid feel and better sound. An integrated titanium blind bore hosel design saves weight, provides solid feel, and allows for more shaft options. The factory installed SureFit Swingweight Screw helps to position the CG deep while also providing a precise head to shaft match. The Titleist 909 D3 Driver is a 440cc, high performance titanium driver with a full pear profile that produces mid launch with low spin, balanced for trajectory and control.

 

The chassis features a modern shape with a Tour-proven profile to create a low and deep CG (center of gravity) for reduced spin, higher MOI (moment of inertia) and longer, straighter drives. A CNC milled face with thicker, centrally located trapezoidal rings is surrounded by thinner areas to maximize ball speed across the face. The shaped sole provides chassis strength, reduces vibration and tunes the impact acoustics for solid feel and better sound. An extended, full pear profile provides playability through a deep CG for stability while maintaining shot workability and control and an integral titanium hosel design saves weight, provides solid feel and allows for more shaft options.

This 909 D3 Driver will definitely help you keep it in the fairway and is infinitely workable if you ever tire of just hitting them long and straight. I know this sounds to good to be true; hopefully I'm not dreaming. Definitely worth a demo if you have similar issues.

Purchased the D3 9.5 model, loved the look of clubhead 440cc, the way it sets up and the pear shaped head, compared to other new drivers & also I like the feel of the 335 tip shaft.

i have read golf digest and this club was rated silver , all iknow is that this is one of the longest and most forgiving clubs i have ever played at least 10-15 yards longer than my 905t
